Whipped Honey Butter
Two ingredients, five minutes, and every slice of toast gets a little sunnier. Great on Classic, Cinnamon Raisin, or French toast.
You'll need
- ½ cup (1 stick) salted butter, softened
- 3 tbsp honey
- Pinch of cinnamon (optional)
- Pinch of flaky salt (optional)
Let's make it
- Beat the softened butter with a hand mixer for 1 minute, until pale.
- Add the honey and cinnamon and beat 2–3 minutes more, until light and fluffy.
- Spoon into a jar and top with a pinch of flaky salt.
- Keep it in the fridge for up to a week. Let it sit out 15 minutes before spreading.
Daly's tip: Butter that's truly soft (it dents easily) whips up fluffier. Cold butter just breaks into crumbs.
